I am very pleased to announce the Arab Investor Award Initiative. The purpose of this Award is to support and enhance the performance of individuals, companies and institutions working in different fields of development, in both public and private sectors, throughout the Arab world. This Award, in my view, represents a breakthrough in our regions, where both creativity and community work often receive acute encouragement. Every innovator creates opportunities for work in his community, if not worldwide, urging and encouraging others. Therefore, we must salute every innovator because this leads to the elevation of the economy in our world and supports research and professional excellence. The Award is the initiative of the Editor of Arab Investor Magazine, Mr Natheem Mohammed Al Sabah, with academic support from the University of Wollongong in Dubai. The Award has its own regulatory system, which is run by a distinguished board of trustees that includes a world-class group of scientists, business leaders, academics, ministers and media professionals, who are characterized by integrity, credibility and patriotism.
